A Prayer to Ignite your Fire
Father,
I thank You that Your light and fire are burning brightly within me. Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Just as You have commanded light to shine out of darkness, You have shone in my heart to give the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ. I rise up in splendor and radiance, for Your glory now streams from me. Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me.
Lord, You have turned on a floodlight for me! You are the revelation-light in my darkness, and in Your brightness, I can see the path ahead. Your lives light up the world. I cannot hide a city that stands on a hilltop. I let my light shine before men so that they may see my good deeds and glorify my Father in heaven.
I receive the fulfillment of the Father’s promise, the mighty power of heaven, wrapping around me. As Your tongues of fire rested upon the disciples, let Your fire rest upon me, igniting a passion for Your name. You fill me with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as I trust in You, and the power of the Holy Spirit surrounds my life with His super-abundance until I radiate with hope.
Lord, I am not given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. Your light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it. Once my life was full of sin’s darkness, but now I have the very light of my Lord shining through me because of my union with Him. I live as a child flooded with Your revelation-light.
Father, as I walk in the light as You are in the light, I have fellowship with others, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses
me from all sin. Your Spirit strengthens and spiritually energizes me with power in my inner being. I am a witness to Your power and grace, empowered to speak boldly of Your great love.
You light my lamp, Lord; my God enlightens my darkness. The God of hope fills me with all joy and peace in believing, that I may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. I am endued with power from on high, and I witness Your miracles and wonders in my life daily.
Lord, let my life reflect Your glory. Let Your fire consume any impurity in me and Your light guide me in paths of righteousness. I declare that Your power is at work in me, exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me.
Thank You, Lord, that I walk in Your light and Your fire burns within me. I am a beacon of Your love, shining brightly for all to see, bringing glory to Your name. I trust in Your power and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
